'Tis Tormund the Lupe, the hero from Neopets: The Darkest Faerie video game. I debuted him at Otakon '07 in Baltimore for the Saturday Hall Costume Contest. Along with my sister's Gnarfas costume ([link]), our duo won 3rd place in the Craftsman division.
The 'chainmail' was silver sequin material, and the gloves and feet were the same material turned inverse. The sword and shield are flashing attached to clear plexiglass. The halos you see around the weapons are the roughened edges of the plexiglass. There were LED lights in the handle and behind the flashing of the shield, and at the click of a button both weapons could light up in red, blue, and purple. (Unfortunately it doesn't show up in the bright daylight of this photo.)
Haha, this makes the fourth Neopet fursuit! I think maybe my next cosplay should be something else. X3
Whoa... giant Lupe. O.O And this is awesome in general. You're great with costumes.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
