Smoke and Mirrors

A scene from my in-progress animation short. Sort of. It isn't a shot or anything, since my short is still in the concept developing phase. ^^ But yeah.

I would've shaded this better, with deep shadows and pretty highlights and all, but this was an assignment for class where I had to draw the image like it was going to look in its final animated form. And there's no way I'm doing multiple shadow layers and highlights and stuff in my final shot. XDD

The little bunny boy is based on Paul, so he has similar proportions and personality. I would've just used Paul, but his ears gave me trouble. They filled up too much space around his shoulders, so he wouldn't have as good a silhouette as a chara with upwards-pointing ears.


Oh yeah. The premise for my short is a competition between an old wizard and a young stage magician. ^^ Fun fun!



... And yeah, the dragon looks like Charizard. XDDD He's totally been changed in the actual storyboards.
