Just a little doodle I sketched up in between working on commissions. Haven't drawn much of these two lately, I'll admit. Rantz and Arak are two of my three vampire characters. In my Vampire Bites storyline they're brothers, but for my general use they're not actually related. (To be honest, I still have yet to settle on a solid cannon for any of my characters, vampire or otherwise. XD)

And yes, both characters ARE male, even the one with the girly hair. I think everyone's entitled to create at least one highly effeminate vampire, no? =P


Oh yeah. Drawn entirely in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Arak's design wouldn't happen to be based off of that Lestat vampire, would it? When I saw Lestat--in someone's forum siggy--for the first time I thought of Arak and wondered if it was possible.

Weeeellll, Anne Rice's books were a huge inspiration for me, vampire-wise, so I think Arak's design was partially inspired by Lestat. :3 Though their personalities aren't very similar. I think Arak might have more in common with Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. XD
