Well, it started off as just a sketch in my freetime, and turned into a big project. XD Worked on this little by little in my spare time over the past month or two.
'Tis Drake, in his room. I'd always wanted to draw my charas and their living quarters, because that always speaks volumes about a chara. So I hope Drake's room says a lot about him and his interests.  I've always imagined his room green, for whatever reason.Ohh, and that's not a real gun under his bed, it's a paintball gun. Goes with that paintball helmet in front of his bookshelf there (and the green jar of paintballs on the shelf). X3 His REAL gun "Gloria" is in the chest. *nods* Hit download to view a larger image, if you want to see any of the details. EDIT: Wow, a DD? Didn't expect that! (What can I say, I created him in the fifth grade! XD) Daily DeviationGiven 2009-11-15Drake's Room by =chaoskomori I have to say, from a cartoonist's standpoint, the attention to subtleties and detail in this piece make the scene and concept very believable and "real". And what's even nicer is that all the little messy aspects of the room clutter work great to create a nice composition! The retro style is certainly a breath of fresh air as well. Nice work here!
