Oh no, Drake, what did you do?

This is the cover for my next sketchbook. (I print this out on cardstock, and bring it and computer paper to Kinkos, and have it spiral-bound for my own customized sketchbook) The court-theme comes from playing Ace Attorney and watching lost of Monk/Psyche/CSI/etc. (Oh, oh, and notice I matched it to the court theme on my journal? X3 Heehee.)

I really like how this turned out. I spent quite a deal of time on it, with very conscious decisions on line weight and color choices and perspective and all that. :3 (Getting the camera angle was a pretty nifty process, to be honest.) I even worked on that Courtoom seal for a while. Their motto is "Justice by Pencil," but Paul's kinda' in the way.


Apparently, Arak is Sketchbook City's district attorney, and Paul its head judge. Drake must've done something pretty bad, because he's been held in prison long enough to get inmate garb. (Which probably ticks off his police chief father, haha.) Or, at least, he's been framed, because he seems pretty shocked that Ghost is accusing him of the crime. *nods*

This is just one of those captured moments that has no backstory or future story, but kinda' looks like it should. XDDD
