Wheee, speakeasy!
So, yeah. This thing took me lots of time and research, man. I even went to my local library to look at books on the twenties and on Art Deco. :3 Aaand this took about 9 hours to sketch, 10 hours for the lineart, and 11 hours to shade and color. Whew! But, I'm happy with it. Everything was researched, even down to color choices. And this has more characters in a single picture than I think I've ever done before. Haha, the composition is really similar to my courtoom pic. >_> Dang. ... Arak has a difficult time fitting in the 20s. >_> No one had long hair then. And I don't know what Rantz is doing hanging out with Evan's mom. :3 Hee. And I went and drew Sammy, Evan's female persona, because I don't have enough girl characters. Um, the characters are mostly mine, plus a few of my sister's. The fed is Drake, the two cops are Riley and Tom (*fyuvix's charas), the one getting roughed by the cops is Ghost, the bartenders are Axel and Roger (who also belongs to Fyuvix), the girls are Sammy and Elsha, the guy in the tux is Rantz, and the one on stage is Arak. Hooray! |
