You know the phrase “face the firing squad?” Well, what sorts of things does the firing squad face?
'Tis for the Fortitude contest in the Anthro Gallery, part of the 7 sins/virtues contests for DA's 7th bday: [link] Fortitude is courage in the face of adversity. And I think there's nothing more courageous than being able to take a stand on something you believe in. This is kinda' related to a previous picture of mine ([link]). It's not quite a continuation of the story, since I've changed a number of the details. But I guess it's like some sort of alternate dimension world where Axel chooses a different path. Or something. (Axel is my bat chara in the front there, sadly named before Kingdom Hearts II) Backstory? Well, I guess I could always let the image explain some of its thousand words. ^_~ Also, I’d like to also mention that I’m not trying to make any anti-war statements here. I tried to make the uniforms/location/weapons as nonspecific as I could, though I know very little about military uniforms or weapons. EDIT (8-23-07) Ah hah. More than a week later, and I realize that Fortitude is actually one of the themes in that 100 Themes challenge! How amazingly perfect! So here we are, 20.
